Tui Tuaneri Akoto, MBA, M.Sc, CMI, FCMI

Founder and CEO

Tuaneri is responsible for determining the strategic and policy direction of  Elevated Aspirations Ltd, supervising the management, and implementing & fulfilling the company’s specific tasks. Tuaneri has over 27 years management experience.

He has held Chair and Vice Chair positions (Youth Exchange Council Committee, British Council) and sat on various committees and boards (George Williams College, British Council, STEPs), written a chapter on social inclusion & education in the international selling book ‘The Right's of the Child’ and has worked as a professional journalist for The Journal (a community newspaper).

Tuaneri has an MBA (International Business) from the University of East London, an M.Sc (Masters in Public and Community Services) from the University of East London, and a B.A (Hons) in Youth and Community Work from The George Williams College.

Tuaneri is also the founder and Chairman of the Elevated Aspirations Charity.  The charity capacity builds communities and assists residents and individuals with their                                                                   personal development.

     

CarolCarol Sherman (Associate Director)

Projects Manager

Carol brings her considerable experience as an actress, artistic director, circus performer and project management to Elevated Aspirations Ltd.  Carol has spent many years performing in theatre, contemporary circus & physical theatre nationally & internationally. She has taught acrobatics, trapeze, acrobalance, juggling, unicycling  and a wide range of circus and performing skills.

Carol holds both project management and teaching positions within her local community working with children, young people and adults. She believes in giving young people the opportunities and support to further understand & better themselves and elevate their positions in society.

She is equally at home delivering training for pupils, students, teachers, support staff, leaders, governors and parents.

 

ShakaShaka Daanwi B.A (Hons)

Shaka has a wealth of experience in youth and community work.  He has been employed in youth and community work for over 30 years with several youth organizations, however, primarily with Newham Youth Service until leaving in December 2013.

Shaka has spent many years as a strategist and consultant for non-profit organizations (STEPs, WISE, DUNKS, ACE, Young n Gifted). Furthermore, Shaka runs his own business called ‘Young n Gifted’ as well as the voluntary project of the same name. He specialises in music and has over 25 years experience in the music industry.

Shaka has a degree in Youth and Community Work from Greenwich University, London and is a believer in continuous personal development.

   

 

 

Paul

Paul Lemonius  B.A. (Hons)

Trustee: Elevated Aspirations Charity

Paul has over 14 years experience in the delivery of formal and informal education. Whilst working for Newham Youth Services Paul was actively involved in assessing and improving on Quality Assurance.  He is also a stand in lecturer, tutor, student supervisor and reader for the YMCA Informal Education Degree course.

As well as being an experienced youth consultant, youth faith group developer, manager, vocal tutor and songwriter Paul has extensive experience  in delivering community events, award ceremonies, entertainment and performing arts projects. 

Paul runs his own charity called N’Devour alongside Steve Morris and Sylvia Martyr.  N'Devour tries to address gaps in community provisions for the most vulnerable in society.
